After a quite long career in the music industry, Nigerian-American pop star Lisa Yaro is prepared to solidify her position with the release of “My Way,” her first EP project.
Lisa Yaro can easily pass for a black superstar. With ‘My Way’ demonstrating her power, Lisa is prepared to rule the world stage.
She has eyes that are as alluring as her voice and a cultural fusion of American and Nigerian heritage.
The six-track EP is the radiant result of a flawless upbeat fusion of R&B and the African five-pattern beat rhythm.
Savage, a vivacious party anthem released earlier in May 2023, served as its first single.
In “Savage,” Lisa revealed the amount of intensity she could emit in a song, and it is evident in her performances of the majority of the songs on “My Way.”
Before releasing her debut project, Lisa had a reputation for amazing composition.
She had worked with well-known artists like Will. I.Am, LeToya Luckett, and Mya on the Grammy-nominated album “Smoove Jones,” which was up for Best R&B Album.
Additionally, Lisa has included Nigerian fusions and some aspects of African pop music into some of the tracks on “My Way” in an effort to reach even more audiences.
Lisa Yaro, a self-employed solo artist, doesn’t appear to be slowing down when it comes to creating new ground in the entertainment industry, since her music is still played on important media, such as Hot97 in New York, SoundCity, and Cool FM, the latter two of which are headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
Her perseverance and hard effort are also visible in how she won recognition on a global scale while performing at the 2022 AFRIMMA Awards in Dallas, Texas; she owned the stage and won the audience’s hearts with her powerful storytelling.
Her most recent releases are “Yaro,” which features Zlatan, a Nigerian street pop musician, and “Biko,” a song that is appropriate for any occasion.
