Marcus Rashford wins Premier League Player of the Month for September ahead of Alex Iwobi
Marcus Rashford of Manchester United has been named the Premier League’s September Player of the Month.
At the beginning of September, the 24-year-old England international put on a strong performance against Arsenal, scoring twice as the Red Devils defeated them 3-1. In September, he made two assists as well.
Rashford received the award ahead of Alex Iwobi, Kevin De Bruyne, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Jacob Ramsey, and Philip Billing.
Erling Haaland was not nominated despite a streak of outstanding performances, but City star De Bruyne was.
