The cashew tree (Anacardium occidentale) is a tropical evergreen tree native to South Americarunut. It hold a very interesting nut, which has a bountiful supply of nutritious benefits. So if you haven’t thought about including this special nut to your plate, here are reasons why you should.

cashew nut are high in monosaturated and polysaturated fatty acids which helps reduce LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels which in return reduces risks of stroke, heart attacks and cardiovascular diseases. A study taken by the Journal of Nutrition states that the epidemiological evidence indicates consistently that nut consumers have a lower BMI than non-consumers.

Cashews are also known to help improve shine and health to ones hair seeing that they contain fatty acids and copper. Oils gotten from cashews can  as well be applied to hair for proper maintenance and texture due to the presence of linoleic and oleic acids in them.
