The cast of Deadpool 3 has grown, as Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna are returning as Yukio and Negasonic Teenage Warhead for the upcoming Marvel sequel.
Deadline reports that agreements have been reached for Hildebrand and Kutsuna to return for Deadpool 3. Hildebrand returns to the character of Negasonic Teenage Warhead, a mutant with the ability to create nuclear explosions from her body. Kutsuna plays Yukio, a Japanese mutant with a strong background in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat, who is Hildebrand’s girlfriend.
When they were last seen together, they were working on fixing Cable’s time-travel gadget so that Deadpool might travel back in time to save his beloved Vanessa from being killed. They even appeared in one of the the movie’s three mid-credits sequences.
In addition to Stefan Kapicic and Morena Baccarin, who will reprise their roles as Colossus and Vanessa, Deadpool 3 also has Karan Soni and Leslie Uggams, who will return to our screens as Dopinder and Blind AI, respectively.
Additionally, Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as the film’s title character, while Rob Delaney will reprise his role as Peter. Actor Hugh Jackman has also been confirmed to play Wolverine, albeit this interpretation of the character is anticipated to “diverge” from what we have previously seen.
On November 8, 2024, Deadpool 3 will be released, placing it in the MCU’s Phase 5.
