Nigerian film director, Biodun Stephen has announced the official release date for her upcoming murder mystery movie titled, ‘Hotel Labamba.’
The renowned filmmaker used Instagram to reveal information about her upcoming project’s theatrical release.
The film, which was written by Frances Okeke, is a murder mystery that centers on the mysterious death of a well-known social media influencer in a hotel, casting suspicion on everyone.
On what to expect from the crime-drama, Stephen tells Shockng,
“Apart from the fact that its an entertaining film, the one thing you should look out for is the lesson. It’s an all round entertainment, you’ll have a good laugh, there are fantastic characters, fantastic personalities.”
The movie stars Bimbo Ademoye, Lateef Adedimeji, Blessing Jessica Obazi-Nze, Bolaji Ogunmola, Lilian Afegbai, Chris Iheuwa, Onyekachi Nnochiri, Okey Jude, and Femi Adebayo Salami.
The movie, which is directed by Stephen, is distributed by Cinemax and produced by Lady Laide Films and Shutter Speed.
The forthcoming project follows the recently released Big Love, which follows the commercial success The Kujus Again.
Hotel Labamba will be released in Nigerian theaters on July 28, 2023.
