Manchester United will make an offer of £55 million for Chelsea’s Mason Mount.

Erik ten Hag is interested in the England international who missed the last few weeks of the season due to injury, and the United manager wants a move to be completed fast.

Mount’s future at Stamford Bridge is becoming more questionable as he enters the final year of his contract.

Old Trafford sources have indicated that talks over a move for the 24-year-old are set to commence.

Manchester United want to pay in the region of £55m for Mount, a price that falls way below Chelsea’s £85m valuation.

Given Ten Hag’s intention to add the attacker to his ranks for the upcoming season, United might be willing to increase their initial valuation of Mount.

In addition to United, Mikel Arteta wants to capitalize on his team’s second-place finish this season, so Mount has interest from Arsenal as well.

More so, Liverpool’s boss, Jurgen Klopp is actively pursuing a deal for Mason Mount in pursuit to rebuild his midfield after a trying season.
