Former Deputy Speaker inspects new Orthopedic Hospital in Plateau State

The former deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and member representing Wase constituency, Hon Ahmed Idris has expressed satisfaction the progress of work at the Orthopedic Hospital newly established by the Federal Government in Jos.

The Lawmaker who was accompanied by some Federal legislators in the zone, expressed delight on the takeoff of the hospital which he successfully attracted through a bill he sponsored.

He expressed appreciation to the Federal Government for the release of funds which enabled the commencement of work.

According to him “we shall ensure the quick completion of this project for the benefit of our people in the whole North Central zone”.

The Managing Director of the hospital, Dr Icha Onche who led the inspection, appreciated the Lawmaker for establishing the hospital in Jos, and facilitating the timely release of funds to embark on the massive reconstruction.

The MD who was joined by the Dr Porkop Bupwatda, CMD of JUTH also solicited for more support for the acquisition of modern Orthopedic equipment.

Hon Ahmed was accompanied by Hon John Dafaan, chairman of Plateau Caucus and member representing Quan pan/shendam/Mikang constituency, Plateau state, Hon Ari Mohamed Abdulmumin – Nassaawa/Toto .

Nassarawa State, Hon Ikani Ismael Kayode – ifolidu/Offar, Kwara state and Hon Ajang Alfred, Jos South/Jos East Plateau state, amongst several former commissioners, chairmen of Boards and several high ranking dignitaries from the zone.
