Blockbuster Bliss: Must-Watch Hollywood Movies Heating Up July 2023

The first half of 2023 brought a lot of excitement and blockbuster fun to esteemed Hollywood fans around the world.

Afriqpulsetv has put together a list of Hollywood movies to look out for in July 2023 and their release date.

1. Insidious: The Red Door (July 7th)

Ten years after the final scenes of the second movie, Josh Lambert travels to the east to drop off his son Dalton at a picture-perfect Ivy League school. But when his long-repressed memories unexpectedly resurface to torment them both, Dalton’s ambition of attending college turns into a nightmare.

Josh and Dalton must travel back to the Further to put an end to the haunting and exorcise the demons once and for all in order to put an end to the Lambert nightmare.

Patrick Wilson, making his directorial debut, will be directing the next American supernatural horror movie Insidious: The Red Door from a screenplay by Scott Teems and a scenario by Leigh Whannell and Teems.

Roles from the movie are reprised by Ty Simpkins, Wilson, Andrew Astor, Rose Byrne, and Lin Shaye. Sinclair Daniel and Hiam Abbass also join the cast.

Sony Pictures Releasing has set July 7, 2023 as the U.S. release date for Insidious: The Red Door.

2. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (July 14th)

To find a frightening new weapon that threatens humanity before it gets into the hands of the wrong people, Ethan Hunt and his IMF team set out on their most perilous mission yet.

A deadly race across the world starts as terrible forces from Ethan’s past close in and sinister forces from the future and the fate of the world are at stake.

Ethan is forced to ponder that nothing can matter more than his purpose — not even the lives of those he loves about most — when confronted by a mystery, all-powerful enemy.

Christopher McQuarrie is the writer, producer, and director of the next American action spy movie, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.

It is the seventh entry in the Mission: Impossible movie series and the sequel to Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018). Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and Henry Czerny are among the movie’s notable cast members.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One theatrical release date in USA is 14 July 2023.

3. Oppenheimer (21st July)

Oppenheimer is an upcoming biographical thriller film directed, written, and co-produced by Christopher Nolan about J. Robert Oppenheimer, a theoretical physicist who helped create the first nuclear weapons.

The movie, which is based on the 2005 biography American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, stars Cillian Murphy as Oppenheimer, along with Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., and Florence Pugh in supporting roles.

Oppenheimer is slated for release by Universal Pictures on July 21, 2023, in the United States and the United Kingdom.

4. Barbie (21st July)

Barbie and Ken embark on a voyage of self-discovery to the real world after being ejected from Barbie Land, the utopian doll community, for being less-than-perfect dolls.

Greta Gerwig will be directing the upcoming fantasy comedy Barbie from a screenplay that she co-wrote with Noah Baumbach. This live-action Barbie movie, which is based on the Mattel fashion dolls of the same name, has hitherto only appeared in computer-animated direct-to-video and streaming television productions.

Along with an impressive ensemble supporting cast that includes America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, and Will Ferrell, the movie stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken, respectively.

Warner Bros. Pictures has set Barbie’s premiere in Los Angeles for July 9, 2023, and its American debut for July 21, 2023.
