After being sighted at Peter Obi’s Labour Party presidential campaign event in Jos, veteran Nollywood actor Mr. Ibu is trending on Twitter.

The comedian actor and a few other celebrities had met with Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, in 2021, hence Mr. Ibu’s attendance at the event made headlines.

Since then, a lot of online users have used social media to express their opinions, some of whom have praised the talented actor.

Following his appearance at Peter Obi’s Labour Party (LP) presidential campaign rally in Jos on Wednesday, September 28, well-known Nigerian comedian John Okafor, often known as Mr. Ibu, is now trending on Twitter.

Reactions to the actor’s attendance at the event were triggered by a meeting he and other celebrities had with Bola Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, in 2021.

Videos posted online captured Mr. Ibu welcoming Peter Obi and being invited on stage as he prayed for the LP fans.
