A man has been detained by authorities from the Wanguru police station in Mwea East, Kirinyaga County, Kenya, on suspicion of defiling his daughter, who is two and a half years old.

He was eventually apprehended by the angry neighbors who were baying for his blood.
After having him frog marched to the Kimbimbi dispensary, they confined him in a room before summoning the police.
Police responded after receiving information from the public, according to Mwea East OCPD James Mutua, who confirmed the event.
She is receiving treatment at Kimbimbi Sub-County Hospital, where a medical report confirmed she had been defiled, according to Mutua. The toddler is two and a half years old.
